If, however, you wish to register an organization promote your business, product or service, you must first establish a free account which we can verify through our email confirmation process. Where do I specify the PASSWORD I want to use on this site? To maintain the highest security and integrity of our service, we will send a temporary password to the email address you have indicated above. Upon receipt of our confirming email, you should then sign-in and change your password.
We use Screen Names as an 'Alias' to protect your identity. Since email addresses are not visible through our service, we use an alias (commonly called a Screen Name) so you can safely participate in certain site features without the need to share your real name or email address. This feature is used primarily in the Community Calendar and Genealogy sections of this service. (Note: Your Screen Name can be the same as your Username, but will be visible to others)
